Jolene*, a six-year-old girl whom police was searching for, <\/strong>for seven months, has just been brought to safety from online sexual exploitation in the Philippines by IJM and police.<\/p>\n

Jolene\u2019s heartbreaking story was featured in a\u00a0<\/strong>recent ABC News documentary<\/strong><\/a>, when a trafficker was arrested for abusing her for sex offenders to watch online.<\/p>\n

In the videos, Jolene was asking for the abuse to stop. But Jolene and her mother \u2013 who was also suspected of abusing her \u2013\u00a0disappeared before police arrived,\u00a0<\/strong>sparking an international police investigation to find them.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the perseverance of police, supported by IJM and people like you,\u00a0Jolene was brought to safety last month.\u00a0<\/strong>The trafficker has been arrested and can no longer harm Jolene or any more children.<\/p>\n
